2023 Texas Auto Writers Association Truck Rodeo Name Nissan Frontier “Mid-Size Pickup Truck of Texas”

The Nissan Frontier Pro-4X has won two different awards at the 2023 Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) Truck Rodeo. The Frontier Pro-4X was awarded “Best Overall Value” and “Mid-Size Pickup Truck of Texas”. The 2023 Truck Rodeo was held at the Eagles Canyon Raceway off-road course in Decatur, Texas. Content creators and automotive journalists evaluated SUVs and trucks in many different categories, including the exterior, interior, value, performance, and personal appeal. The 2024 Nissan Frontier has a suggested starting MSRP of $29,770 (Plus destination fee). Now, buyers looking for a more exciting drive off-road the 2024 Frontier PRO-X and Pro-4X trims.

The 2024 Nissan Frontier PRO-4X is highly efficient at performing everyday tasks around town as well as helping with loads and off road trails because of the ideal size, reasons why it was voted “Midsize Pickup Truck of Texas” by TAWA. The Nissan Frontier has been a 60-year leader, the truck can generate up to 431 horsepower with the 3.8-liter direct-injection V6 engine matched to a 9-speed automatic transmission. A strong frame and a powertrain allow the truck to achieve a towing capacity of up to 6,640 pounds. Frontier’s amazing off-road credentials and are equipped with Bilstein off-road shocks and 17-inch wheels fitted with all-terrain tires.
The 2024 year adds the Hardbody Special Edition package as a tribute to the original Hardbody truck from the 1980s. The 2024 Frontier Hardbody features new technology that allows drivers to stay informed, entertained, and connected with advanced driver-assist features. The truck features a 7-inch driver-assist display and an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment display, and each display features Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, the truck features a wireless device charging pad, a 10-speaker Fender premium audio system, an Intelligent Around View monitor (available on POR-4X models only), and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
