Nissan has been at the forefront of creating fully electric vehicles for the better part of a decade. Ever since the release of the Nissan LEAF in 2010, Nissan has shown its devotion to moving to a more green and sustainable future. Now, Nissan is teaming up with Wallbox, one of the leaders in smart electric vehicle charging technology, to provide drivers with the most advanced, convenient, and efficient home charging method possible. Now, let us take a more in-depth examination into the partnership between Nissan and Wallbox, as well as Nissan’s vision for the future.

Nissan electric vehicle owners in the U.S. will be able to purchase Wallbox’s Pulsar Plus level 2 home charger and can schedule for the unit to be installed at the NissanUSA.com website. Nissan has noted that they will provide a rebate for the charger and installation process for customers who purchase through this program. The Pulsar Plus from Wallbox is the company’s best-selling universal electric vehicle charger. Pairing powerful performance with a compact design, the Pulsar Plus level 2 home charger provides 30-35 miles of range per hour and can be installed in homes, apartments, or multi-unit residences.

The automakers sustainable vision for the future includes prioritizing electric vehicles and advanced technology with a $17.6 billion investment and 23 electrified models across the globe, including 15 all-new electric models by 2030 in the U.S. Nissan has also committed to 40% of its vehicle sales being fully electric.

“As we continue our efforts to make electric vehicles more accessible, this new program with Wallbox allows us to offer a simple solution for electric vehicle owners looking to install a home charger,” stated Aditya Jairaj, the Director of electric vehicle marketing and sales strategy for Nissan U.S. “

This initiative will make it easier and more convenient for more consumers to switch to electric vehicles.
