Nissan’s Formula E Team Reserve Driver Caio Collet

Nissan Formula E Team is happy to announce Caio Collet as its new reserve simulator driver for the 2023/24 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship. Nissan’s Formula E Team has pushed through adversity and continued to succeed in each race. The current drivers for the Nissan Formula E Team are Oliver Rowland and Sacha Fenestraz. Collet was a former member of the prestigious Alpine Academy, the 21-year-old joined with the team on the season’s opening day in Mexico City E-Prix. At such a young age Collet was able to move up the ladder quickly, with his skills.
Collet is a Brazilian racer who began his single-seater career back in 2017 in the Formula 4 UAE Championship. In his time there he claimed a win and six podiums. The following year he proceeded to gain seven victories and became the French Formula 4 Champion. Next Collet moved onto the Formula Renault Eurocup where he spent two seasons and included an overall second-place finish in 2020. After an amazing performance Collet earned a spot in the FIA Formula 3, gaining three wins and 11 podiums across a trio of seasons in the championship.
