Nissan Americas Appoints New Senior Leadership

Nissan Americas has named Yuri Rodrigues vice president, total customer satisfaction and chief customer satisfaction officer, Americas. In this capacity, he will be in charge of managing customer satisfaction, product quality, and safety initiatives throughout the Americas. Rodrigues has been the Chief Customer Satisfaction Officer and Regional Vice President, Total Customer Satisfaction, Nissan Africa, Middle East, India, Europe, and Oceania (AMIEO) since October 2020. James Moss, who was elevated to the role of corporate vice president, total customer satisfaction, at Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., a company located in Yokohama, Japan, is replaced by Rodrigues. 

“James has played an instrumental role in leading strong improvements in product quality in spite of challenges caused by the pandemic and supply chain disruptions since taking on his role in 2020,” said Jérémie Papin, chairperson, Nissan Americas. “Even more importantly, he’s been a champion for our internal culture transformation. We are grateful for his contributions during his time here.”

In 2011, Rodrigues became a director at Nissan, where he was in charge of customer satisfaction and product quality in Brazil. He then expanded that responsibility to cover Latin America before joining INFINITI, a Japanese company, as global chief quality engineer. Rodrigues will work out of Nissan Americas’ Franklin headquarters.
