Nissan is preparing to bring custom vehicles to the 2024 Chicago Auto Show. The first vehicle to take the spotlights is the off-road-ready Nissan Frontier, desert ready and equipped with a limited-edition package by Forsberg Racing which won the NORRA 500 race. The second is the Nissan Ariya electric crossover that took on the adventures Pole to Pole challenge across continents. The two vehicles offer available add-ons so buyers can customize their Frontier or Ariya in the same fashion. The two vehicles accomplished the challenge ahead with ease, proving Nissan’s capabilities. The off-road Nissan Frontier is desert ready, equipped with a limited-edition package used by the Frontier that was used by Forsberg Racing which won the NORRA 500 race.

The Forsberg Off-Road Frontier is outfitted with the NISMO Off-Road lift kit and high-performance suspension kit, NISMO Axis Truck Beadlock 17-inch wheels with Yokohama GEOLANDAR M/T G003 tires, NISMO Off-Road lighting upgrades, NISMO Off-Road rock sliders, and NISMO Forsberg Racing designed graphics package. The truck is an enthusiast dream vehicle, capable of taking on any trail or desert challenge. All these features are packed into the 2023 Frontier PRO-4X to prepare for the race over the course of two days, beginning in Ensenada, Baja California, Mexico heading to San Felipe on the Sea of Cortez then returning to finish on the beach in Ensenada.

“Our championship win at the NORRA 500 was a testament to the capabilities of the Nissan Frontier with NISMO Off Road parts and Yokohama Geolandar tires,” said Forsberg. “We took a stock truck outfitted with NISMO Off Road parts and drove it from the shop in Southern California to the event, raced across the Baja desert for 500 miles, and drove it back home to the shop without an issue. It’s thrilling to know that more drivers will be able to experience a taste of the rugged performance that propelled our success in the NORRA 500.”.

The Nissan Frontier will be joined by the all-electric Ariya which tackled extreme conditions and terrains on its journey. The Ariya e-4ORCE took a trip from the North Pole to the South Pole, over 18,0000 miles in just over 10 months by husband-and-wife Julie and Chris Ramsey. The Ariya did not need many modifications before its journey, adding 39-inch BF Goodrich tires for the best traction on snow and ice, and widening the fenders. By adding the minimal modifications the all-electric Ariya showcased its capabilities in extreme conditions. Fans hope the brand has more vehicles that will be introduced at the Chicago show and a glimpse at any future plans.
