Oliver Rowland to Join Nissan Formula E Team

The 10th season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship 2023–24 is upon us, and the Nissan Formula E Team is happy to welcome back driver Oliver Rowland for an exciting return. Rowland has been partnered with Sacha Fenestraz in this exciting journey after a superb debut season as a rookie. The Nissan Formula E Team is delighted with Rowland’s solid experience and talent. Thanks to his driving agility, the ability to adapt to challenging track conditions, and his determination, Rowland has become a valuable member of the Nissan Formula E Team, and his involvement with the team is expected to bring success in the upcoming season.

Rowland became a member of the Nissan Formula E Team as a rookie in 2018, the same year that the Japanese car manufacturer began its participation in the exciting world of Formula E. During his time as a member of the Nissan Formula E team, Rowland has scored five pole positions and five podium finishes in seasons 5 and 7, including a victory in Berlin in 2020, demonstrating a lot of driving agility. In addition to a strong Formula E career, the 31-year-old Barnsley native has an impressive track, winning the Formula Renault 3.5 Series title in 2015 and third place in the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2017.

Sacha Fenestraz will partner Rowland in season 10 of Formula E, Sacha is a 24-year-old who impressed during the season 9 campaign with impressive handling in the Formula E cars, taking pole position and the fastest lap of all time at the Cape Town E-Prix. Fenestraz also achieved the fastest lap result in Monaco, placing at the top of the timesheets, demonstrating his skill on the track. The Rowland-Fenestraz duo present an exciting combination, and their teamwork promises to take the Nissan Formula E team to new heights in season 10. This season is set to be the biggest Formula E season of all time, with 17 races planned, including the first-ever E-Prix in Japan, which will open on March 30, 2024. In-season testing will take place in Valencia on October 23 and 27, before the first round of the championship kicks off in Mexico City on January 13 next year.
