Nissan Provides Top Safety Pick Safety
With the 2021 model year vehicles gaining more high-tech, customers have the choice with so many Top Safety Pick+ selections the Nissan brand is offering. Consider the fact that the 2021 Nissan Altima, Maxima, Murano, and Rogue are all a part of the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick+ selections. This is excellent news for the Nissan brand and loyal customers of Nissan. Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 package includes automated emergency braking, high-beam assist, lane departure and blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear automatic braking.
To receive a Top Safety Pick award, a vehicle that is tested must obtain the highest rating of “Good” in any crash test that measures small front overlap on the driver and passenger sides, front moderate overlap, side crash, roof strength, and head restraints. Not only that, a vehicle must earn an “Advanced” or “Superior” rating for front crash prevention and headlights deemed “Acceptable” or “Good” must be available. Aside from earning high safety ratings, the Murano offers some new perks depending on the trim an owner opts for.
New Perks of the 2021 Murano
